Lockdown: 'In The Tub'
Lockdown 3.0 meant I couldn't use my studio space. I had to improvise with using architectural locations that were close and accessible to me, to project onto. This meant using my house and more specifically... my bath.

'In The Tub' is a video installation using two projectors. One projector plays a visual of my train journey from London to Leeds, showing the different lights, sounds and movements. The other plays a collections of coordination animations of various buildings and locations I visit in both London and Leeds. Both these visuals are projected into the architecture of the bath as well as onto maquette models of the buildings represented in the coordinate animations.
The white material of the bath lends itself well to being projected onto, which adds another layer of projection as it reflects and shines.
It was fun to install work in this way and shows that any architectural space that is accessible and interesting is worth using.

In light of the third lockdown, installing work outside again and in accessible places is so important to be able to receive audience's perceptions from a wider audience.
