38 delph mount
38 Delph Mount is a collation of drawings done over the first few days of lockdown whilst isolated in my Uni home. They were sunny days, so I took time out to do observation drawings outside. The drawings used represent typical things found in the house and scenarios that mean something to our uni family in particular. Through lockdown, what is immediately around us is all we really have for direct inspiration. I wanted to capture my friendship group as a house and turn it into something we could keep forever.
Throughout my practice I work and experiment with line drawings, light and how projections can refract with clear materials.
Black & white drawings are materials I will always use to project. Using a black background doesn't confine you to a 1080 x 1920 box so it can create more mystical appearances when projected.
38 Delph Mount, 2020.
Hand drawn visuals turned into stop motion animation.
Made on Premiere using photoshop drawings, 1min run time.
